To start with, this year has been a great year for me. It has been a year of great experience and tremendous uplift.
Lot of thanks to the almighty God, my family, my friends, my loved ones, my supporters and my team members for being a part of my year 2015 story.
Early this year, I was practically trying to be a somebody. Dropped a single which put me in the limelight and I got to attend and perform in shows.
I had a big set back when a relationship that I so much cherished got sour and ended. While trying to find closure and get over it I recorded a song. The song, 'PALAVA', narrates most of what led to the break-up.
Channelling all my energy into what I do best, I got better. I performed at events which I never thought I could yet and been to places. This is all thanks to those fore mentioned.
In November "Unilag Awards" was established. I was nominated "Next Rated" alongside a host of popular top acts. At first, it seemed impossible to bag that award but God willing, I emerged the winner. Guess you can also call me an award winning artiste too.
Some friends of mine got record deal(s) and are doing good. This I'm happy for as we're all winning and everyone is progressing.
We thank God we now get paid to storm events.
I thank God for my academics. It isn't an easy task to do this and still maintain those excellent grade but I'm still pushing and trying to be better in all areas.
In summary, my year 2015 wasn't a bad one. Like I said, it's been a year of experience and continuous learning. No part of it came easy. I'm not where I want to be yet; but I thank God for his blessings.
There is not enough space else I would have slotted in some more. Let's reserve the rest for 2016 story which of course will be a great year God willing.
Huge shoutout to everyone supporting the brand. Thanks for your relentless support, Sefhan will continue to make you proud.
Year 2016 will be bigger and better for us all as there's no relenting because we are never stopping.
